In the last few weeks, have you felt “off” in any way? Do you make stupid errors at work? Is this your third week of illness? Although these stressful conditions might be caused by a variety of factors, they could also be the result of a chakra system imbalance. What exactly are chakras?

What are the symptoms that your chakras are out of balance?

Chakras are energy centers found all over the body.

Although there are hundreds of chakras, the majority of attention is focused on seven primary chakras. These bright energy wheels align along the body’s core channel, the shushumna nadi.

The chakras along the shushumna nadi are power centers where the left (ida nadi) and right (pingala nadi) channels cross. The subtle body is made up of these energy pathways and psycho-power centers. The subtle body exists in a distinct world than the physical and mental bodies, yet it has a significant influence on the body, mind, and complete system.

The human body system flourishes when the chakras and nadis are open and prana, or life energy, may flow freely throughout the system. Any disruption or sickness in the body, mind, or spirit can result in obstruction and imbalance. The objective is to achieve harmony. So, if you’ve been feeling off, take a closer look at your chakras to figure out what’s going on and start finding balance.

Consider what you have been consuming (food, drink, thoughts, experiences), your present life circumstances (traveling, relocating, major transitions), and the current season if you are feeling out of balance (wind, cold, rain, heat, dryness). Each of these variables has the ability to have a significant influence on your delicate, sensitive human system as a whole.

“Like increases like” and “opposites balance,” according to the beliefs of yoga and Ayurveda, where the chakras play a vital part in comprehending the human system. This implies that if you already have excess heat in your body (as in anger or indigestion) and add more heat (as in a hot day or spicy food), you may experience even more heat and agitation—like intensifies like.

On the other hand, adding the opposite to that equation and taking a cold shower or eating some fresh fruit may make you feel better and more in balance—opposites balance. Meredith Timber, author of Shape of the Spirit and energy medicine specialist, argues that your biography becomes your biology with each thought and experience you have.

Do Your Chakras Balance Together?

There are five main warning indications that your chakras may be out of harmony. In the pursuit of balance, too much or too little energy in each chakra causes imbalance. Remember that the aim is harmony, and that balancing your chakras does require work.

The following are some general warning signs:

  1. Something appears to be “odd.”
  2. You become ill.
  3. You become ill. Again.
  4. You begin to make foolish mistakes.
  5. It appears that everything is going apart.

Each of these broad abnormalities emerges in each chakra as particular physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual imbalances. Let’s take a deeper look at how imbalances in each chakra might contribute to a sense of discord throughout the whole body system.
